School Overview
Stepanski Early Childhood Center offers high-quality early childhood programs and is Nationally Accredited by The National Association for the Education of Young Children. We use the HighScope curriculum which is research-based and child-focused. The HighScope Curriculum uses a carefully designed process, called "active participatory learning", to achieve powerful, positive outcomes. Stepanski Early Childhood Center teachers and assistants are highly-qualified. Take time to view the content in the 'Resources' section below to learn more about Stepanski ECC.
To start the enrollment process for one of our 3-4 year old preschool programs for the 2025-2026 school year, please click on the link to fill out the interest form and one of our staff will contact you.
Stepanski ECC 2025-2026 Interest Form
New for the 2025-2026 school year:
- GSRP (Free Preschool, Pre-K for ALL!) will be Monday-Friday and begin at the end of August to better align with the K-12 calendar. This will equal 168 days of free preschool for all children who turn 4 years old by December 1, 2025.
- GSRP (Free Preschool, Pre-K for ALL!) families have the option to request a Monday- Friday half-day classroom placement (8:30am-11:30am/12:30pm-3:30pm). Note: Final determination if there are enough students to run this classroom will be made by April 1, 2025.
- GSRP (Free Preschool, Pre-K for ALL!) has expanded the staggered class start times for families to choose from as follows. (7:45am-2:45pm, 8am-3pm, 8:15am-3:15pm, 8:30am-3:30pm, 8:45am-3:45pm)
- If your family needs extra child care, sign-up for before school/after school child care at your preschool enrollment appointment so that you are all set for the 25-26 school year.
For this current school year, we do have 2 full day spaces and 2 half-days spaces left in our GSRP (free preschool, Pre-K for ALL!) for children 4 years old by December 1, 2024. If interested, please call 248-666-9593 today!
