Dear Children’s Village Community,

Welcome to Children’s Village School, home of the Voyagers. Our school provides a broad range of educational services. Children’s Village School is a key factor in servicing the needs of youth in detention, residential treatment, and shelter care. In partnership with Oakland County, we strive to create a highly effective K-12 school that meets our diverse learners’ educational, emotional, and social needs. Our dedicated staff members create a structured and respectful learning environment while promoting academic achievement and civic values.

Our educators are highly qualified Waterford School District employees. We offer courses that are accredited and transferable to our students’ home school districts. Students are taught core academic subjects aligned with the Michigan Merit Curriculum. Elective courses include physical education, art, business, and personal achievement. Opportunities for credit recovery are available as well.   

As principal, I am happy to lead our welcoming and supportive school community. Our students’ unique needs are addressed by a team of qualified and caring professionals. We aim to prepare our students for success when they return to their home schools and communities. Each day we focus on providing students with an excellent educational experience.
