Homecoming at Kettering

Homecoming is a Kettering High School tradition organized by our Student Council & Leadership Teams, helping to shape our positive school culture for the academic year. Students, staff, parents and the community, look forward to our annual homecoming events and festivities that celebrate all our Captains and the pride they have for their school and community. Homecoming Spirit Week

• Student Council determines each of the five Spirit Week Dress days, posted here when complete.

* Students are encouraged to dress for each spirit day. For safety and appropriateness, face paint, masks and any negative paraphernalia, are strictly prohibited. *

Homecoming Event Snapshot

• Hall Decorating the Friday before Homecoming week
• Class Olympics: Last hour of school day (Thursday schedule)
• Powder Puff game Wednesday: 6:30 pm, admission $7
• Pep-Assembly: Last hour of school day (Thursday schedule)
• Pre-Game Dinner/Captains' Cookout
  • Cookout Includes a variety of food truck vendor choices
  • Games and fun activities for all!
• Pre-Game Parade: Football Field, 6:15p (Homecoming Court Processional)
• Dance Decorating Friday before dance
• Homecoming Dance: 6:30 pm start time

Homecoming Class T-Shirts

• Homecoming T-Shirts for Class Color Day will be sold during registration, and two weeks prior to the homecoming dance, during lunches, for $12 each

Homecoming Tickets

• Homecoming tickets will be sold two weeks prior to the homecoming dance, during lunches, for $25 each
• Tickets increase to $30 the last two days of sales during lunches
• Tickets are $35 at the door (for Kettering students only)

Guest Passes

• Kettering students planning to bring a guest student from another school or outside Kettering, are required to complete the Guest Pass process
• Signatures from both sets of parents are required. Signatures from both school administrators are required
• Submit a Guest Application
• Kettering students are permitted ONLY ONE guest
• Guest Passes for the homecoming dance will be available, starting at registration in August
• Guest passes are due completed, the Tuesday of Homecoming week by 12:00 pm
