Helping students and staff with research is a critical part of the learning process. The following resources provide framework for research and credible sources and creating citations through a variety of tools, including periodicals, literature, e-books, online research databases, e-journals and more. Use these tools for research, reading and writing for instructional purposes.

Google Scholar
Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. Google Scholar helps you find relevant work across the world of scholarly research.
InfoTrac
InfoTrac Web Access to several databases including Health, Kid's Edition, and General Reference Center Gold. Combines full-text and images from magazines, newspapers and reference books. See the Librarian for instructions for use from home.
Michigan e-Library
The Michigan eLibrary (MeL) is a statewide service of the Library of Michigan, an agency of the Michigan Department of Education. The Library of Michigan works with the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services (MCLS) to provide MeL services.
