Waterford
Teen Health Center's quality primary care and preventive services are
available to 12-21 year-old residents of the Waterford School District
and surrounding communities. Our medical team delivers individual,
private teen health care ranging from preventive health services, to
treatment of injuries, to sports physicals, to counseling for many
issues that affect teens. Plus, accessing health care is easy; the
Waterford Teen health Center is located within the Waterford

Affordable Health Care
Payment is based on each student's household income, making our health
care services affordable. No one is refused care at the Waterford Teen
Health Center due to household income or insurance status. Assistance
in applying for Medicaid is also provided to uninsured families.

Information
College freshman that live in
dormitories have an increased risk of getting Meningococcal
disease
Meningococcal disease is a serious illness, caused by a
bacteria. Anyone can get meningococcal disease. It is most common
in infants less than one year old and people with certain medical
conditions, such as lack of a spleen. You may have your teen
vaccinated at the Waterford Teen Health Center, located on the
Crary Campus. Please call for an appointment or more information

Kids Insurance
The Waterford Teen Health Center is
a school-based component of
Oakland Primary Health Services,
Inc. and the Waterford School District. Additional funding and support is
currently provided by the Michigan Department of Community Health, the
Michigan Department of Education, the Waterford School District, and
other stakeholders.
