About Us
The Waterford School District Child Care Services prides itself in
providing a quality educational based child care programs. Full
day Child Care is available for all children enrolled at
Stepanski Early Childhood Center. Before and after school Child
Care is available in all of our 12 elementary schools.
We are
offering a new Before and After school Teen Club Program for
Pierce Middle School students. We also provide child care on
half days and school breaks. On inclement weather days, full day
care (6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) is offered at The Stepanski Early
Childhood Center for all children registered in our elementary
School Child Care Programs. In addition to our school year
programs we also offer an activity packed summer program that is
age appropriate. Also open to the public is our Dandi Lion Child
Care Infant/Toddler program offering care for ages 2 ½ weeks
thru
those who have not entered Kindergarten.
Philosophy
We believe children have the right to quality
child care in a warm, nurturing, and safe environment.
Our Child Care Program is designed to enrich children with
social, physical and educational experiences that will help
further develop them as students and as individuals.
The criterion for admission includes:
· Teen Club program; Children must be enrolled in Middle
School.

School-aged children must be enrolled in a Waterford School
Program.

The Stepanski Early Child Care Program admits children ages 2½ to 6 years of age
who are enrolled in one of the Center's programs. Children must
be reliably toilet trained.

Dandi Lion Child Care Infant/Toddler Program admits children as
young as 2½
weeks thru those who have not entered Kindergarten. Their
immunizations must be up to date. |
