Staff Development develops and facilitates training to help all employee groups achieve the Waterford School District's mission, vision, goals, and objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support best practice in K-12 instruction aligned with the district's curriculum goals

• Support effective interaction with students and community by all school employees

• Lead the orientation/training of new district employees

• Help students and buildings achieve pertinent success indicators (student exit outcomes, test results, graduation rates, accreditation standards, etc.)

• Communicate effectively with all district stakeholder groups

• Promote lifelong learning by all members of the Waterford School District
